StratoSave is a financial planning estimation tool. We are committed to keeping your data private. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

2. Data You Enter

All financial data in StratoSave — income, expenses, savings balances, mortgage details, and any other numbers — is entered manually by you. We do not connect to any bank, brokerage, payroll provider, or financial institution. We never infer, scrape, or retrieve your financial data from any external source.

This data is stored in our database solely to persist your plan between sessions. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than displaying it back to you.

3. Account Information

If you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address (used to log you in and send transactional emails only)
• A hashed password (we never store your password in plain text)
• The financial data you manually enter into the app

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise share your personal or financial data with any third party for commercial purposes. Your data is not used to build advertising profiles, sold to data brokers, or shared with marketing partners.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a limited set of third-party services to operate the platform:

• Neon (database hosting) — stores your account and financial data on encrypted servers
• Fly.io (application hosting) — hosts the application
• Stripe (payments) — processes subscription payments; we do not store your card details
• Improv MX (email) — routes transactional emails (login links, receipts)

Each of these providers processes only the minimum data necessary to perform their function.

6. Cookies and Session Data

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all associated data from our systems. To request deletion, contact us at legal@stratosave.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access-controlled infrastructure. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer on Accuracy

All outputs from StratoSave are estimates based on your inputs. They may be inaccurate. Nothing in this service constitutes financial advice. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer and limitation of liability.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
